Discover Glen Nevis & Meet our Highland Cattle

Join us for a guided walk in Glen Nevis, an iconic Highland glen that has a fascinating history and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We'll take you off the beaten track on a route that follows the River Nevis. You'll have the chance to experience nature and learn about the history of Glen Nevis. The route passes through sites that were used in major Hollywood productions (Braveheart, Highlander, Harry Potter) and at the end, you'll see our fold of Highland Cattle.

Highland Mountain Company

Join David Bucket from ‘The Highland Mountain Company’ to explore Glen Nevis. Whether you want to find out more about the flora, fauna and geology of the glen, climb Ben Nevis or try something a bit more adventurous such as climbing or abseiling, David has activities to suit your requirements. Individuals, couples and families can all be catered for. 

Fishing in Glen Nevis

Why not try your hand at fishing for salmon or trout? Our Highland Estate has the fishing rights for the river Nevis and you can buy fishing (catch and release) permits for 1 day (£15) and 3 days for the price of 2. The season runs from 15th April to the 30th September each year. Enquire at our self-catering or campsite receptions for more details and to buy a permit.
